We make cut off dates a month in advance of an event because venues are demanding earlier notification of ticket sales.  Therefore, we ask you to please adhere to the cut off date that has been set.  When we order tickets, they are held for us and must be paid for a month before an event.  If you are unable to attend an event, refunds will only be considered due to medical reasons.

 

Thursday May 24, 2018                                                      SUNSET MINI GOLF AND LUNCH

1873 London Line, Sarnia                                                           9 a.m.—-1:30 p.m.

This is a drive yourself event.  9 holes of Golf or Mini Golf.  Also lunch is included.  If you are interested in playing 9 hole of golf, tee off time will commence at 9 am sharp.  If you wish to play 20 holes of mini golf, tee off time will be 10 am. There is an open bar available at your own expense.  Lunch will consist of soup and sandwich, dessert, and tea or coffee.

COST:  $8.00 PER PERSON for mini golf

Friday, June 29, 2018                                                           Huron Country Playhouse, Grand Bend

BUS WILL DEPART FROM UNION HALL NO LATER THAN  11-AM                             (11 a.m. to 7 p.m.)

Please be in union parking lot by 10:45 am.  We will be returning at approx. 7 pm

A Bus trip to see “Cruisin Classics”, A 50’s and 60’s Diner Revue.  A joyous jive down memory lane.

After the show, we will be stopping about 4:30 pm at Grog’s Restaurant in Port Frank’s.  Dinner selection will be one of the following:

1.Fish & Chips Dinner         2. Chicken Dinner    3. Beef Lasagna    4. Vegetarian Lasagna

Dessert and non-alcoholic Beverage is included.

Cost:  $48.00 per member

THURSDAY July 26, 2018                                                                         Victoria Playhouse Petrolia

“The Andrews Brothers”, a Madcap musical comedy, set in WWII at a USO Show.  This is a “Drive yourself” event.  Show time is 2:00 pm.  Please be at the theater no later than 1:30 pm to receive your ticket.  A Roast beef dinner will be served at the Petrolia Legion following the show.

Cost: $29.00 per member                                                             Deadline Date: June 26, 2018

 

Friday August 24, 2018                             RETIREES SOCIAL CLUB “SUPER PICNIC & CORN BOIL”

AT: CANATARA PARK PAVILION  11AM TO 4PM

(pavilion is booked till 9 pm, so all are welcome to stay past 4 pm)

This event will take place on this date, Rain or Shine.  No Rain Date

Bring Lawn chair if you wish, enjoy games, feel free to bring musical instruments.  Food and non- alcoholic beverages will be provided.

COST:  FREE to all members                    DEADLINE DATE:  August 1, 2018

Please let us know so that we can purchase the appropriate amount of food and refreshments.

THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 13, 2018             A BUS TRIP TO ST. JACOBS MARKET IN WATERLOO

Please be at the Union Hall by 8:15 am.  Bus departs at 8:30 am sharp.  Lunch is not included.  There are numerous facilities to purchase your lunch in St. Jacobs.  You are also welcome to provide your own lunch.

Bus will return to Union Hall by approx. 6 pm.

Cost: $15.00 per member                                                             Deadline Date: August 13/2018

 

TUESDAY OCTOBER 02,2018                               LUNCH SOCIAL AT SARNIA LEGION BRANCH 62

Sarnia Legion Branch 62, 286 N. Front St., Sarnia–in the upstairs hall.                                          11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Soup and sandwiches, dessert, tea or coffee are provided.  Alcoholic beverages are available in the downstairs bar at your expense.  There will be progressive euchre, if you wish.  Feel free to bring musical instruments or games, or you can just sit and relax and socialize.

COST:  $5.00 PER PERSON — This is not refundable                                 DEADLINE DATE:  SEPTEMBER 02, 2018

Tuesday, October 23, 2018             BUS TRIP TO RIPLEY’S AQUARIUM IN TORONTO

Lunch/Dinner is not included.  Cost reflects Motor Coach charges and admission to aquarium.  We plan to stop at “en route” around Woodstock on the way and also on the way home.  You may bring your own lunch if you wish.  The bus will return to the Union Hall by approx. 7 pm.

COST: 35.00 PER MEMBER                                                                              Deadline Date: September 23,2018

Mid to Late November 2018                      Sarnia Imperial Theatre Christmas Show

Date and time of show to be announced.  Dinner Location to be determined at a later date.  This is a “Drive Yourself” event.  You will be contacted when more information is available.

COST:  $20.00 PER MEMBER FOR SHOW ONLY                                  DEADLINE DATE:  Mid to Late October 2018

HOLIDAY Inn, Point Edward (Venetian Blvd)

Cocktails at 5 p.m.   (Cash Bar)                       Dinner at 6 p.m.          Turkey Dinner will be served family style.

Cost: $12.00 per Member
