LUDGER ‘LOU’ PAQUETTE – SEPTEMBER 21, 1942 – JUNE 15, 2018

Obituary

Surrounded by his loving family at St. Joseph’s Hospice on Friday, June 15, 2018, Lou Paquette passed away peacefully at the age of 75. Beloved husband of Brenda Paquette (nee Ross) for 52 years. Loving father of Douglas Paquette and Tammy (Paul) Healy. Cherished papa of Miranda and Cole Healy and Paige Paquette. Survived by his brother Romeo of Sudbury. Predeceased by his parents Romeo and Jean Paquette and by his siblings; Ben, Roland “Harry”, Madeleine Christie, John, Andre “Joe”, Armand, and Conrad. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Lou was a Fourth Degree Knight of the Knights of Columbus and was a longtime member of Local 663 for over 50 years. The family would like to thank Dr. Maddison and colleagues, along with all the staff and volunteers at St. Joseph’s Hospice for all their compassion and care shown to Lou and his family during his time there. As per Lou’s request, cremation has taken place. Family and friends will be received at ST. MICHAEL’S PARISH, 1920 Wildwood Dr., Brights Grove, from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m., on Wednesday, June 20, 2018, with a Mass to follow at 1:00 p.m. A private family interment will follow. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to St. Joseph’s Hospice or the charity of your choice (cheques only at the funeral home please).
